Critical Care I
This session will examine the assessment, monitoring, and pharmacotherapy of the critically ill patient, using patient cases to apply the pharmacotherapeutic information and principles presented.

Neuropsychiatric Disorders and Critical Care Nephrology
With the clinical pharmacy generalist in mind, this session will address the pharmacotherapy of patients with underlying neuropsychiatric and acute renal disorders. The first segment of the program will provide an overview of the treatment of neuropsychiatric disorders in general practice. The critical care nephrology segment will concentrate on the pharmacotherapeutic management of acute renal failure, and the use of drugs in critically ill patients with renal dysfunction and those receiving dialysis or undergoing hemofiltration. Faculty will focus on opportunities for attendees to apply the pharmacotherapeutic principles presented to clinical case studies. The program will conclude with an open discussion regarding the advancement of clinical pharmacy in Taiwan nationally.

Critical Care, Neuropsychiatric Disease, and Documentation of Clinical Services
This session will address the pharmacotherapy of critically ill patients and patients with neuropsychiatric disorders. Case studies will emphasize the clinical pharmacist’s practice activities in contributing to the care of these patients. The program will conclude with a discussion of how to apply the information and principles learned in this series of programs to the clinical pharmacist’s practice and professional development.
